JOHNNY DUK

Johnny Duk (aka Fabio Ducoli), is a Swiss artist who for several years has performed on local stages as well as abroad, with 3 albums recorded in the studio, the last of which, "Beautiful World", was published in 2018 and contains 13 new compositions (lyrics and music) by Johnny Duk, including the singles "Beautiful World" and "Screaming your Rage" which have achieved great success in the various Swiss and foreign radio stations.
Singer,songwriter, guitarist, likes to use various instruments on stage, as well as the resophonic guitar, the Puerto Rican cuatro and the harmonica. Shy and reserved in everyday life, it completely transforms when it rises on a stage, a sort of "Doctor Jeckyll and Mister Hide" in the Rock version.
Equipped with a charismatic and involving stage presence on the stage, ranging from musical genres ranging from Folk, Rock, Blues, Country, Rock n 'Roll up to Rockabilly, being accompanied by the Dusty Old Band, formed by some of the best musicians in the local scene.
Johnny Duk wrote and composed several songs, later published on two albums recorded in the studio: "The River of Dreams" and "On The Other Side", getting excellent feedback from the public and international critics.
The song "Serenade", taken from the first album, has been broadcast several times on European (BBC London) and North American radio stations.
Great success also for "Fly Away", song included in the second album, as well as "Breathe in, Breathe out" on which was also shot an official video published on the You Tube channel and social media.
Then, in 2018, published his third album, "Beautiful World".
As well as a musician, he is responsible for organizing the only date in Switzerland for the "Light of Day World Tour", a charity concert to raise funds to donate to the fight against Parkinson's disease.
For 2 consecutive years he also participated in the final stage of the Tour held every year in Asbury Park, New Jersey (USA).
In 2015 he had the opportunity to share the stage with Bruce Springsteen in the final stage of the concert for the Light of Day Foundation, at the Paramount Theater in Asbury Park, New Jersey.
He’s become the only Swiss artist present at the event as well as the only one to have duet on stage with the house idol, Bruce Springsteen.
The Dusty Old Band, which has been with him for several years on stage and in the studio, has undergone several transformations inside, and is currently composed of:
- Johnny Duk: Leader Voice, Acoustic and Electric Guitar, Puerto Rican Cuatro, Dobro, Harmonica.
- Oreste Pianezzi: Drums and percussion.
- Daniele Rizzetto: Electric Guitar and Voice.
- Mauro Zinzi: Keyboards, Piano and Voice.
- Angelo Quatrale: Electric Bass.
 

Over the years, Johnny has developed many collaborations "Live" and in Studio with various local and international artists, such as:
Andrea Innesto (Vasco Rossi Band), Eddie Manion + Jake Clemons + Vini Lopez (E Street Band / Bruce Springsteen), Dan Bern, Ruth Gerson, Gotthard, Joe D'Urso, Bruce Springsteen, Guy Davis, James Maddock, Jesse Malin, Joe Colombo, Andrea Bignasca, Make Plain, Davide Van De Sfroos and many others.
The Show by Johnny Duk & Dusty Band, is a mix of fun, energy, sympathy, with the intent to involve the public and drag it into the various musical sounds proposed.
During the autumn of 2017, Johnny Duk published his new single entitled "Beautiful World", broadcast by many radio stations in Switzerland, Italy and the USA.
The single in question anticipates the new album and has obtained excellent feedback from the heads of the sector as well as from the public. Currently Johnny is promoting his new album "Beautiful World" with a new series of concerts, also recently released an official video for the song "The Train of Life", included in the new album.
